The Heroes' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 21-0 win. The Heroes haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kenia Martin looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024.
At the plate, Zoey Wheaton was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Payton Duncan was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
The Heroes were getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .765. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, the Heroes got the win against the Storm on Thursday by a conclusive 10-0.
Tatum Meeker made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sarahi Rico, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Francesca Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
The Heroes' win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for the Heroes, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Heritage Academy haven't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.3 home runs per game. However, it's not like Heritage Academy struggle in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Heritage Academy took their win against Heritage Academy in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. Will Heritage Academy repeat their success, or do Heritage Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
