Volleyball Recap: Shelton Takes Down Ranked Joel Barlow

Shelton faced Joel Barlow in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Gaels walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. This was payback for the Gaels, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Shelton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9, 23-25, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shelton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Bacca, who had 15 digs and one assist. Bacca is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.
