Volleyball Game Preview: Unity Christian Lions vs. Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones

The Unity Christian Lions will take on the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Unity Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Unity Christian earned a 2-0 victory over Mt. Pulaski.

Unity Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mt. Pulaski between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart-Griffin was able to grind out a solid win over Beardstown on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sacred Heart-Griffin was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10.

Unity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Sacred Heart-Griffin, their win bumped their record up to 18-13.
