Softball Recap: Eastern Guilford Wildcats vs. Ragsdale Tigers        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Eastern Guilford gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They never let the Ragsdale Tigers onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The high-scoring effort was just what Eastern Guilford needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
  Kamryn Permar made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Permar has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Permar was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Jasmine Mack was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Krista Gunnell, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Eastern Guilford is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record  this season. As for Ragsdale, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record  this season.
 Eastern Guilford will head out on the road to  face off against  Atkins at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Eastern Guilford is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Ragsdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest Guilford at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Northwest Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11.8  runs per game  this season.
