Fyffe has gone a perfect 8-0 against Sylvania recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Sylvania was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against Plainview, falling 34-7. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

Sylvania's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4. As for Fyffe, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Fyffe against Sylvania in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
