Baseball Recap: Pellston Takes a Loss

Pellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-5 to the Mackinaw City Comets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Comets this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-5 defeat on Thursday.

Pellston's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Mackinaw City, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Pellston has already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Johannesburg-Lewiston on the 19th. As for Mackinaw City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Newberry on the 19th.
