If Southeast Halifax wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Northampton County, they should've done a better job of containing Toccara Joyner. The Northampton County Jaguars strolled past the Southeast Halifax Trojans with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-23 thanks in part to Joyner, who posted 13 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Southeast Halifax lost, don't look at Iyana Harrison. Despite the final result, she had five points and five rebounds.

Northampton County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.9% in those games and 21.9% outside of them. As for Southeast Halifax, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
