Basketball Recap: Midland Park Comes Up Short

Midland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hawthorne Bears. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Midland Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Hawthorne, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

As of now, neither Midland Park nor Hawthorne have any future games scheduled.
