Softball Recap: Locust Fork Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Locust Fork can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mobile Christian Leopards by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hornets have suffered since April 4th.

Locust Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Mobile Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-19-1 record this season.

Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mobile Christian, they have already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Madison Academy on the 13th.
