Basketball Game Preview: Sparks Railroaders vs. North Valleys Panthers

Sparks hasn't had much luck against North Valleys recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Sparks Railroaders will head out on the road to face off against the North Valleys Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Sparks is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Thursday. They were outmatched by North Valleys and fell 55-19. While losing is never fun, the Railroaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Panthers are ranked sixth).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Bailey Hunden, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Shea Patterson, who scored six points and five rebounds.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for North Valleys, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
