Basketball Recap: Augusta Prep Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Austin Luke and Nathan Shepherd + How To Watch

Augusta Prep managed to slip by Horse Creek Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cavaliers lost 74-51 to the Stallions on Saturday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathan Shepherd and Austin Luke certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Shepherd posted 15 points, while Luke put up 12 points.

Augusta Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Horse Creek Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augusta Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wagener-Salley at 1:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Horse Creek Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
