Basketball Game Preview: Berkley Bears vs. Pontiac Phoenix

The Berkley Bears will take on the Pontiac Phoenix in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Pontiac likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Berkley didn't have quite enough to beat Franklin and fell 57-55. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 16-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Pontiac came up short against Churchill on Friday and fell 55-47.

Pontiac's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Berkley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Berkley couldn't quite finish off Pontiac in their previous matchup back in February and fell 54-51. Can Berkley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
