Volleyball Recap: Lebanon Yellowjackets vs. Carthage Tigers

Lebanon lost against Carthage back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Lebanon started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-9.

Livia Ahmann paced Lebanon's offense, picking up 17 kills. Ahmann got some help from Harper Starnes and her 33 assists.

Lebanon dropped their record down to 11-17-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Carthage, their win bumped their record up to 10-14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lebanon will face off against Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carthage, they will square off against Willard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
