Volleyball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon lost against Carthage back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Lebanon couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Carthage a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-9.

Livia Ahmann paced Lebanon's offense, picking up 17 kills. Ahmann got some help from Harper Starnes and her 33 assists.

Lebanon's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-17-3. As for Carthage, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14-1.

Lebanon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Glendale on the 16th. As for Carthage, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Willard on the 16th.
