After losing to Olympic the last time they met, Ardrey Kell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ardrey Kell Knights had just enough and edged the Olympic Trojans out 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted against the Trojans since February 8, 2022.

Ardrey Kell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brett Freeman out in front who posted 17 points and six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Freeman has scored at least a third of Ardrey Kell's points. Braden Suggs was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 14 points.

Olympic lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was De'Angelo Hall, who earned six points along with 11 steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurice Sabb, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points.

Ardrey Kell has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which somehow still isn't as good as their 18-5 record this season. As for Olympic, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ardrey Kell will head out to face off against Palisades at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Palisades knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Ardrey Kell likes a good challenge. As for Olympic, they will venture away from home to square off against Berry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Berry is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season.
