Basketball Recap: Saguaro Sabercats vs. Lake Havasu Knights
The Saguaro Sabercats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Lake Havasu on the road to the tune of 97-33. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Saguaro has managed all season.
Nashoba Redhouse had a dynamite game for Saguaro, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Redhouse has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Justice Hinds, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Saguaro and bumps their season record up to 9-14. As for Lake Havasu, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saguaro won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. St. Mary's is coming into the game hot, having won their last 12 games. As for Lake Havasu, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westview is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
