Baseball Recap: Onalaska Takes a Loss

Onalaska was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, falling 26-3. The Loggers were not able to make up for their loss to Pe Ell/Willapa Valley from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Blaze Underhill was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Desean Stewart was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Onalaska's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Onalaska will square off against Toutle Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ducks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Loggers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they will take on North Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
