Softball Recap: Sardis Comes Up Short

Sardis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-4 to the North Sand Mountain Bison, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Sardis' defeat dropped their record down to 13-22-3. As for North Sand Mountain, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11.

Sardis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Pleasant Valley on the 25th. As for North Sand Mountain, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Plainview on the 25th.
