Softball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-4 to the Bedford Kicking Mules. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Kicking Mules: they've now lost six in a row.

Abby Yuan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Skyline now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bedford, their record is now 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will challenge Tecumseh at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Bedford, they will square off against St. Ursula Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
