With a playoff win on the line, Wasatch rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Salem Hills Skyhawks as they made off with a 57-36 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Wasps pulled away in the second half with 33 points.

Salem Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kade Moser, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 12 points. Elijah Gasser was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Wasatch has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. As for Salem Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Coming up, Wasatch will square off against Olympus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympus has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three matchups. Salem Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
