Softball Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Americas Trail Blazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trail Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 two weeks ago.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Americas, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Horizon will take on rival Bel Air at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Americas is set to challenge their familiar foe Parkland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
