Football Recap: Legacy Charter Takes a Loss

The Legacy Charter Eagles took a blow against the First Coast Christian Knights on Friday, falling 60-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landen Mathias threw for 120 yards and one touchdown. Kaden Mathurin was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards.

Ezra Glymph had an outrageously good game for First Coast Christian as he threw for 212 yards and five TDs on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 32 yards.

Legacy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Legacy Charter will venture away from home to challenge Geneva Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Coast Christian, they will host Saint Francis Catholic Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
