Football Recap: Legacy Charter Takes a Loss

The Legacy Charter Eagles took a blow against the First Coast Christian Knights on Friday, falling 60-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landen Mathias threw for 123 yards and one touchdown. Kaden Mathurin was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards.

Ezra Glymph was nothing short of spectacular for First Coast Christian: he threw for 212 yards and five TDs on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 32 yards.

Legacy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Legacy Charter will head out on the road to take on Geneva Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Coast Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calvary Chapel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
