Football Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Stockdale Mustangs + How To Watch

The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will venture away from home to take on the Stockdale Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ridgeview and ten for Stockdale dating back to last season.

Ridgeview managed to keep up with Independence until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wolf Pack were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 42-12. While losing is never fun, the Wolf Pack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 534th, while the Falcons are ranked 263rd).

Although Ridgeview took the loss, they still got scores from Darryon Casteel and Francisco Palma.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Stockdale's offense. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of Garces Memorial.

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Stockdale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Ridgeview couldn't quite finish off Stockdale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 21-19. Can the Wolf Pack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
