Recap: Blanket Tigers vs. Evant Elks        
        
		
            
 After flying high against the Mullin Bulldogs  last Friday, the Blanket Tigers came back down to earth. Blanket took a   41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Evant. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Blanket in their matchups with Evant: they've now lost six in a row.
 Leading Evant to victory were  Bree Ramirez and  Luwi Rodriguez.  Ramirez  scored nine points along with eight  rebounds and six  steals, while  Rodriguez  scored 20 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Harley Weeks, who  scored six points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Blanket has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Evant, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
 Blanket will head out on the road to  face off against  Gustine at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Evant, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Texas Lions HomeSchool at 6:00  p.m. Texas Lions HomeSchool is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
