Kasson-Mantorville had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Century Panthers. The Komets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Kasson-Mantorville was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 21-25, 25-17.

Century is on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Kasson-Mantorville will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lourdes at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Komets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Century, they will challenge Rosemount at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
