After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Creek, North Duplin was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the East Columbus Gators 4-3. The high-scoring effort was just what North Duplin needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The victory got North Duplin back to even at 1-1. As for East Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

North Duplin has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Union on the 10th. As for East Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against South Columbus on the 10th.
