Softball Recap: Brewster Bears vs. Carmel Rams
After losing to Carmel the last time they met, Brewster decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears walked away with a 4-1 win over the Rams on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.
Arianna Arocho spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.
On the hitting side, Taylor Slavkin was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Medina, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
