Baseball Game Preview: Spring Lions vs. Nimitz Cougars

For the second straight game, Spring will face off against Nimitz. The Lions will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Spring turned things around against Nimitz on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 8-2.

Allen Moore was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Spring: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-14 otherwise. Jeremi Sanchez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Spring hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Nimitz is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16. As for Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.
