Softball Game Preview: Fort Bend Elkins Knights vs. Fort Bend Dulles Vikings

The Fort Bend Elkins Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fort Bend Elkins came up short against Fort Bend Bush on Tuesday, falling 17-6. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Clay made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Jaila Davis was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Dulles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-0 to Fort Bend Hightower.

Fort Bend Dulles' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fort Bend Elkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went Fort Bend Elkins' way against Fort Bend Dulles when the teams last played back in March, as Fort Bend Elkins made off with a 32-22 win.
