Volleyball Recap: Valley Heights Falls to Concordia in First Game of Season

Valley Heights unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Concordia Panthers on Saturday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Valley Heights was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Concordia work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25.

Coincidentally, Valley Heights and Concordia will both be playing Nemaha Central the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Thunder at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
