Volleyball Recap: Azusa Takes a Loss

Azusa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aztecs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Azusa's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Azusa will head out on the road to face off against Montclair at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Flintridge Sacred Heart on the 16th.
