High Point Central and T.W. Andrews are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Bison will welcome the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. High Point Central's offense hasn't had much luck over their past nine contests, but Thursday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

High Point Central's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Lexington Senior on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-0 to the Yellowjackets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for T.W. Andrews, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Montgomery Central 28-0.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to T.W. Andrews' defense and their four sacks. Shamar Jackson was especially locked on to Montgomery Central's QB and sacked him twice. Jackson has been hot, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last seven times he's played. T.W. Andrews got some further help from Cameron Bridges: he picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

T.W. Andrews' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.5 points on average over those games. As for High Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

High Point Central was dealt a bruising 50-0 loss at the hands of T.W. Andrews in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
