Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was the 47-43 winner over Westerville Central when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lincoln Lions took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville Central Warhawks on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Westerville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Coming up, Lincoln will welcome Grove City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westerville Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Central Crossing at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Westerville Central is facing Central Crossing at the right time seeing as Central Crossing is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
