Basketball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Millis Mohawks, falling 64-34. The Clockers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mohawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Millis, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashland will face off against Blue Hills RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Millis, they will challenge Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
