Volleyball Recap: Wheeling Park Takes a Loss

Wheeling Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Parkersburg Big Reds.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18.

Grace Tamburin paced Wheeling Park's offense, picking up six kills. Tamburin got some help from Gracyn Davis and her eight assists.

Wheeling Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-16-2. As for Parkersburg, they now have a winning record of 16-15-2.

Wheeling Park has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Morgantown on the 21st. As for Parkersburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cabell Midland on the 18th.
