Basketball Recap: Smithville Takes a Loss

Smithville lost against Oak Hill Academy back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Smithville Seminoles fell 54-41 to the Oak Hill Academy Raiders. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Smithville now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Oak Hill Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Smithville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blue Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Oak Hill Academy will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Starkville Academy at 11:30 a.m. on December 27th.
