Football Recap: Mount Pleasant Comes Up Short at Home Against Brandywine

Mount Pleasant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Brandywine Bulldogs. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The critical scores for Brandywine came from Brennan Grundy, Amorie Johnson, Darien Griffin, and Stephan West.

Coming up, Mount Pleasant is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Concord at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brandywine, they will welcome Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
