Volleyball Recap: Arkport Central Comes Up Short

If Arkport Central was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Campbell-Savona last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays fell just short of the Hammondsport Lakers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Bluejays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Arkport Central's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Hammondsport, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Arkport Central will head out to face off against Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hammondsport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
