Basketball Recap: CHSA HomeSchool Comes Up Short

CHSA HomeSchool suffered their closest loss since December 7, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool by a score of 68-65. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 873rd, while San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool are ranked 288th).

CHSA HomeSchool has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 25 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CHSA HomeSchool will head out to challenge The Awty International at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to take on Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
