Baseball Game Preview: Christ the King Royals vs. Bishop Loughlin Lions

The Christ the King Royals will take on the Bishop Loughlin Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Thursday, Christ the King made easy work of Nazareth and carried off a 19-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Kingsmen: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bishop Loughlin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Nazareth 14-1 on Tuesday.

Christ the King's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bishop Loughlin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
