Eagan has gone 8-2 against Apple Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Eagan will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Lakeville South, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Eagan narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lakeville South 77-74. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since December 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Apple Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Prior Lake by a score of 76-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (72), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Apple Valley's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2. As for Eagan, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Eagan didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Apple Valley when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with an 80-76 victory.
