Baseball Recap: Vassar Takes a Loss

Vassar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Cass City Red Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Friday.

Vassar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cass City, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Vassar didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-12 win against Bentley on the 14th. As for Cass City, they will take on Beal City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
