Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Santa Fe

Santa Fe not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Orrick Bearcats. The Chiefs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Santa Fe took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-10, 25-12.

Victoria Morton paced Santa Fe's offense, picking up four kills. Morton were helped by Adalynn Boland and Mae Vandiver, who contributed six assists each. Boland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 13 aces.

Santa Fe pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Orrick, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Santa Fe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Midway on the 16th. As for Orrick, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Plattsburg on the 16th.
