It was a good run, but  Tri County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell  2-0 to the St. Cecilia Bluehawks. The Trojans were not able to make up for their  loss to the Bluehawks from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 While Tri County had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18,  25-19.
 Olive Clark paced Tri County's offense, picking up seven kills. Clark got some help from  Macey Gronemeyer and her nine assists.
 Leading St. Cecilia to victory were  Allyse Evans and  Emily Hentzen.  Evans  had ten  digs and one  assist, while  Hentzen  had two  aces. That's the most  aces  Hentzen has posted  over her last ten  contests.
Tri County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for St. Cecilia, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the  victory, which was their 21st straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Tri County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Wilber-Clatonia on the 7th. As for St. Cecilia, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  victory against Centura on the 7th.
