Baseball Recap: Warren Easton Takes a Loss

Warren Easton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the John Curtis Christian Patriots. If the Fighting Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in February of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Warren Easton's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for John Curtis Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season.

John Curtis Christian will venture away from home to challenge Sumner at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren Easton will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' game: after the Patriots faces off against the Cowboys, they'll take on Warren Easton again on Saturday.
