Basketball Recap: Mountain View Finds Playoff Glory Versus Orem

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mountain View walked away with it. They came out on top against the Orem Tigers by a score of 43-35 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaycee Carlson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Carlson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Saralynn Hair was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Orem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-53 defeat against Cedar on the 14th. Orem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
