Softball Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Morton took on Raleigh on Tuesday. The Morton Panthers fell just short of the Raleigh Lions by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 last Monday.

Morton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Raleigh, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morton will welcome Sebastopol at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Raleigh, they will challenge Northeast Jones at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
