Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Heights Victorious

Southwestern Heights won the last time they faced Kingman and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Southwestern Heights never let Kingman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24.

Southwestern Heights can attribute much of their success to Lindanis Puentes, who had seven digs and two aces.

Southwestern Heights' victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Kingman, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Southwestern Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Medicine Lodge on the 20th. As for Kingman, they will take on Garden Plain on Tuesday.
