Baseball Game Preview: Coleman Bluecats vs. Cisco Loboes

The Coleman Bluecats will venture away from home to face off against the Cisco Loboes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cisco will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Coleman extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Bluecats' pitcher stepped up to hand Winters a 10-0 shutout. The Bluecats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Darren Hurtado, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Chantz Adams, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cisco). They blew past Ballinger 22-1 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Cisco's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Coleman, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Coleman beat Cisco 8-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Do the Bluecats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Loboes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
