Baseball Recap: Oroville Takes a Loss

Oroville lost against Orland back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oroville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izaya Keck, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Manny Pina also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Orland, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Orland will take on Willows at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oroville will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans faces off against the Honkers, they'll take on Oroville again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
